Characteristics Of Profert™ A:

PROFERT™ A is perfectly balanced, and contains ALL essential elements for plants.

PROFERT™ A has a high concentration of nutrients in a complex molecular structure.

PROFERT™ A is the first in the world that contains Calcium (Ca) together with ALL other essential elements, in liquid form.

PROFERT™ A controls the pH level in water, which enables the plants to take up the optimum amount of nutrients.

PROFERT™ A is absorbed in very high concentration without detriment to the plants.

PROFERT™ A enables a rapid intake of elements, which causes a booming development of the plant. This change can be detected in very short time.

PROFERT™ A's unique molecular structure reduces leaching losses. This makes PROFERT™ A an environmentally friendly product.

PROFERT™ A is a result of competitive and innovative technology.

PROFERT™ A fertilises, conditions media and regulates plant growth in one application.

PROFERT™ A is used for both root feeding and foliar spraying.

Demand for PROFERT™ A is escalating continually due to market acceptance –A testimony to performance.

What is different about PROFERT™ A?     - Complete and balanced.

PROFERT™ A is perfectly balanced and contains ALL essential elements.

PROFERT™ A has the highest possible concentration of nutrients in a complex molecular structure.

PROFERT™ A is produced through 23 chemical reactions from different chemical compounds.

An extremely wide variety of crops have been shown to benefit. Plants normally sensitive to more than low concentrations of single elements (N, P, S, Cu…) have shown outstanding growth. Commercial growers have adopted PROFERT™ A in all stages of production. They have found that not only does vegetation growth improve but flowering and fruiting is enhanced.

PROFERT™ A is ideal for all crops; in greenhouses or field crops, in all types of soils and for all water qualities. It can be applied through fertigation i.e. drop irrigation or sprinklers.

Leeching losses are minimized:

Through effective use of ALL nutrients (Applied in PROFERT™ A and already existing in the soil), leeching losses are minimized thus reducing environmental damage. This enables an economy in providing plant nutrition for all horticultural and agricultural sectors.

The surface area of a small clay and organic particle - COLLOIDS - enables absorption of nutrient ions. Plant nutrients are available from soil solution and from elements attached to the clay particles or organic matter. The availability of nutrients is strongly determined by the soil type and the particular nutrient involved. Potassium is a large component of clay structures but 90-98% has been estimated to be "relatively unavailable to the plant". Continual use of phosphoric ferilizers has built up total phosphorus levels - much of the added fertilizer has become "fixed" and unavailable. Nitrogen is less firmly held but the major risk is loss by leeching with increased levels in underground water and waterways. PROFERT™ A contains less than 1% Chlorine, this reduces the danger of soil salinisation and damage to chlorine sensitive plants. Low Nitrogen content diminishes the danger of pollution of soil and ground water thus considerably reducing Nitrate accumulation in harvested vegetables, fruits and subsoil water. PROFERT™ A applied as a liquid plantfood enables plants to utilize nutrients with a minimum of loss due to "fixation" or leeching.

Cation exchange capacity (C.E.C) values vary from soil to soil depending on the amount of clay and organic matter. Higher clay content in soil results in higher C.E.C. Also higher C.E.C is an indication of good buffering capacity which results in the ability to resist the effects of either liming or acidifying agents without a permanent change in soil pH. A unique characteristic of PROFERT A is that is will control both osmosis in the root zone and the opening of ectodestomata, stomata and cuticles in the foliage of the plant. This gives PROFERT™ A control of the release and utilization of ALL nutrients required for healthy growth and development of the plant. PROFERT™ A has lower leeching losses because it is taken up almost completely by the plant and in a shorter period of time.

Buffering Ability:

PROFERT™ A not only stimulates development of the root system, growth of the plant, flowering and fruiting but also adjusts the pH of the water applied to the root zone or foliage of the plant to further promote the availability and uptake of ALL nutrients required by the plant.

During the production process, complex chemical reactions take place which result in a product that automatically maintains pH at a range between 5.5 and 6.5 values. The nutrient salts are buffered in a solution or in the soil and are released to the plants as needed by them. This is quite a unique feature and today there is no other properly made complete fertilizer brand that yields this characteristic. Indeed, no other formula even pretends to posses such buffering capacity.

High Nutrient Concentration:

The electrical conductivity (E.C.) is a measure of nutrient concentration. PROFERT™ A diluted 1 to 200 will provide an E.C. reading of around 3.0 milli Siemens/cm - considerably higher than most other liquid and foliar fertilizers. This formulation provides a very wide safety margin to eliminate the possibility of leaf burn. Indeed much higher concentrations are possible. Specific recommendations are made depending on the equipment used.

Adverse Soil Conditions:

"External" stress problems are generally environmentally induced. They include factors like soil pH, reactive soils, sandy and non-retentive soils, missing or insufficient elements and wet or cold weather, conditions that can cause a reduction in nutrient uptake.
